Seed of Light #1 You obtain the first Seed of Light by following your Visions of Light to Io and completing the mission there. Once completed you can choose which sub class has its abilities unlocked first. Seed of Light #2 Seeds of Light can be found on the boss from Blind Well Tier 2. Destiny 2: Forsaken introduced new content to experience, with new skill trees for our Guardian’s subclasses. But how to unlock new abilities? The answer to this question lies in Visions of Light Quest where you’ll get Seed of Light item. Unfortunately, some Destiny 2 players reported that. Similar to reclaiming powers from the initial Destiny 2 campaign, players earn a Seed of Light to unlock one of the three new subclass trees which then can be used on nearly endless waves of Taken.

How to Get More Seeds of Light in Destiny 2: Forsaken

Looking for how to get more Seeds of Light in Destiny 2: Forsaken? We got your answers.

Destiny 2: Forsaken is finally out, and with the big expansion comes a lot of big changes. Perhaps the most in your face are the new supers that have been added. Every subclass from Nightstalker to Sunbreaker gets to enjoy a new super to play around with. Since we mentioned them, the Nightstalker for example gets to channel their inner Bladedancer from Destiny 1, and slice and dice enemies that get in their way while going invisible. The Sunbreaker, on the other hand, can turn themselves into a human tornado of death. You can spin yourself around and around, destroying anything that gets in your way and finish off powerful enemies with a massive slam.

Seeds of Light are tied to these new supers. If you have completed the quest to get the new supers in Destiny 2: Forsaken, you likely already have received at least one Seed of Light. These are obtained upon completion of your quest after you have obtained enough visions of light. Here’s how to complete that quest in case you haven’t gotten that far yet.

You can use that Seed of Light on the subclass that you used to open up a new Path, and thus, a new super. If you’re here though, you’re probably wondering how to get more Seeds of Light.

Update: We’re still not 100 percent sure if you get more Seeds of Light weekly, however, we can confirm that you can get more seeds of light from the Blind Well activity on The Dreaming City as a rare reward from tier 2 and above clears. It might be possible from tier 1 as well, but we have yet to see them drop there and cannot confirm.

We’re not 100 percent sure, because we’re still in the first week of Destiny 2: Forsaken, and the new supers are tied to a weekly milestone quest. However, presumably, the pattern will be the same. Each weekly reset, we will have a new milestone that will allow guardians to obtain another Seed of Light. It may or may not be the same vision of light grind, we’ll have to wait and see on that. But for now, as of week 1, you’re stuck with just the one Seed of Light, at least as far as we know.

You don’t need more Seeds of Light to complete the path you already unlocked. Just complete whatever the objective is in the next node.

That does it for how to get more Seeds of Light in Destiny 2: Forsaken. Be sure to check out our wiki guide for more tips and tricks.

Secret Wall Of Wishes codes

The Wall Of Wishes is a secret room found hidden at the beginning of the Last Wish raid. It can be accessed solo. To reach the Wall Of Wishes, simply load the Last Wish raid and proceed until the room before the first encounter (Kalli). Instead of starting the encounter, go left and jump to the series of grassy platforms with glowing plants to reach the room. To enter a code, shoot the panels and stand on the plate once the full code has been entered. An image of all currently known codes can be found here. When shooting the plates, do not use weapons with explosive/ricochet rounds, as they can end up hitting other plates unintentionally. The game will give you free primary ammo when you are running low. There currently seems to be no way to return to the Wall Of Wishes after using a warp wish (besides going on another guardian or joining someone else's lobby). You can access the chest between the first and second encounter when using the warp to the second encounter code. This allows you to get at least one thing solo from the raid each week (per character). It is also possible for a Warlock and Titan to reach the raid chest between the second and third encounter. The chest from Wish 2 requires a Glittering key (obtained from completing encounters in the raid).

Getting Ace Of Spades Exotic hand cannon

Play through the 'Forsaken' campaign to acquire Cayde's Will (Exotic Quest item). Successfully complete the 'Forsaken' campaign, then speak to Banshee at the Tower to begin the exotic quest steps. Most of the steps are obvious. To easily complete the step that requires 250 hand cannon kills in a strike, simply ignore a strike after starting one and just farm hand cannon kills in the open world for them to count towards the strike hand cannon kills. The only step that is not clear is finding Cayde's secret caches on multiple planets. When you are near the caches, a message will appear. The following are the locations of all four secret Cayde caches:

Cache 1: In Firebase Hades in the EDZ, at the entrance through the Sunken Isles passage.
Cache 2: In the Wraith Mines on Io.
Cache 3: Starting from Exodus Black on Nessus, go right down and past the teleporter pad.
Cache 4: Far south at the Jetsam Of Saturn in the Tangled Shore.

After finding all the caches, you will unlock the 'Ace Of Spades' story mission. Complete it, and then return to Banshee to get Cayde's Exotic hand cannon.

Getting The Chaperone Exotic shotgun

Play the Crucible until the 'Holiday Family Pursuits' item randomly drops. The quest steps for it are obvious. You must earn shotgun kills. You also need to earn kills with specific elements in the Crucible to reach 100% for all three, and get 15 Guardian kills in Gambit.

Unlocking all three new subclasses

In Destiny 2: Forsaken, all three classes have three additional subclasses (one solar, arc, and void). To unlock each new subclass, you must find the 'Seed Of Light' special item. To get the first Seed Of Light, complete the first 'Forsaken' DLC mission to get a milestone to collect 'Visions Of Light', which randomly drop from defeated enemies. Complete Public Events in the Tangled Shore to quickly reach 100% for Visions Of Light. After completing the challenge, you will be directed to Io to play through a story mission. Part of the way through the mission, you will get the Seed Of Light, which you can use to unlock one of the three new subclasses for your character. To get the second and third Seed Of Light, complete the Blind Well special Public Event in the Dreaming City. The Blind Well is located in the cathedral, through the huge doors found in the Divalian Mists. At the top, you can activate the event with special items and different tiers. You can purchase these tiered items from Petra Venj in exchange for Dark Fragments. To get the second Seed Of Light, complete Tier 2 of the Blind Well. There is a small chance a Seed Of Light will drop. Thus, it may take multiple attempts before it drops. The third Seed Of Light drops from defeating Kalli, the Corrupted, in the Last Wish raid. It also can be obtained by giving the 'Offering to the Oracle' during the final week of the curse in the Dreaming City (every three weeks). After interacting with the Oracle Engine, you will open a portal to the Queen's Court and meet Mara Sov. She will give you a chest with loot and a Seed Of Light.
