And her next story just happens to involve some popsicle vault dweller that she just met, i.e. someone who is naturally more attractive and well-kempt than the average wastelander. Also, her office is like right next to the city entrance, giving her first dibs on anyone of that sort who comes into DC.

MacCready and Cait both come on to her in front of the SS and she casually shoots them down, but the way they talk about it ('so when are we having that one-on-one interview', 'too bad we can't make it a threesome' even if the SS isn't romancing Cait) suggests there's a lot more going on than the SS knows.
The coffee table in her house/office is nowhere near the couch it's supposed to service. It's almost like she's using that couch for something else.
Her weird obsession with lockpicking. Deacon likes lockpicking because he's a sneaky undercover agent, Cait likes lockpicking because she's a thieving junkie, Piper likes it because.. she's a journalist? Yeah right.
